The Highway HAZMAT area is set to represent scenario based exercises in a highway or tunnel venue for terrorist created, hazardous materials environments, or other designed operations. These operations can include any number of vehicles, large trucks, (both box and tanker), and buses. The only limitations here for exercises are the requirements and imagination of the unit commander.

Some of the exercise objectives that can be accomplished here are survey, search & rescue, victim recovery, and decon.
