The Center for National Response (CNR) is located 30 miles south of Charleston, WV or 30 miles north of Beckley, WV on I-77/64. To get to the CNR, you get off the interstate at Exit 74, Paint Creek Road. At the stop sign, turn left and proceed north on Paint Creek Road for approximately 3/4 mile to the end of the town of Standard. When you cross over the road bridge, you will see a green highway sign with CNR on it. Turn left and follow the blacktop road to the top of the hill. It ends at the CNR.

The Center has a Training Support Facility area closer to the interstate. When you turn left onto Paint Creek Road, proceed for approximately 1/4 mile to a small bridge on the left. Cross the bridge and stop at the guard post and check in. The phone for the guard is (304) 595-5525.
